How quickly can Echelon’s workforce be in production for us?
We can deploy workers in as little as 3 days, sometimes faster, depending on the skills required.
Are your workers insured in case of an accident on the job?
Yes.
Who manages Echelon’s workers while they are on the job?
Echelon’s project managers and coordinators handle all Echelon employees.
What kinds of jobs and industries do you fill?

Can I search your employee database?
We can’t share our database, but we can share resumes for the specific skills you need.
What does an initial presentation cost?
Nothing. The presentation is free.
Are there any retention fees?
No. Echelon does not require retention fees.
Do you provide security?
Yes.
Do you provide executive protection?
Yes.
Are your workers exclusive to Echelon?
Some of our employees work exclusively with Echelon.
What are your turnover rates?
Because of our extensive screening process, turnover is minimal.
Do you provide benefits to the workers?
Because our employees are on short-term contracts, we don’t provide benefits other than unemployment insurance.
Do you provide drug testing?
Yes.
When should we start planning?
Depending on the circumstances and the size of the bargaining unit, 2 to 18 months ahead.
Where do your workers come from?
Echelon provides skilled employees from across the country.
How are workers housed?
Echelon handles all logistics and lodging for its employees.
Can we hire your workers directly?
Many clients want to hire our workers full time because of their skill and experience. We discuss this case by case.
How are workers transported across the picket line?
Echelon’s strike-experienced van drivers handle transportation through picket lines.
Do you provide transportation for our management?
Yes, for salaried and management personnel.
Do you provide transportation for our employees who want to cross the picket line?
Yes, we can provide separate transportation for anyone crossing.
Do you provide PPE?
Yes, though many clients prefer to provide their own PPE since each job is unique.
Is there a minimum number of hours worked?
The minimum is usually 60 hours per week.
Are we responsible for travel if a worker arrives unqualified?
Echelon provides qualified labor. If an employee arrives without the qualifications requested, Echelon reimburses the client’s expenses, case by case.
If a worker arrives unqualified, do you replace them, and at what cost?
We replace the employee at no cost.
If someone is injured at our facility, is it an OSHA recordable?
Echelon follows all OSHA injury and illness recordkeeping and reporting requirements under 29 CFR 1904, including the OSHA 300 Log, and complies with all applicable OSHA rules based on each client’s categorization and requirements.

Do you have jobs available?
Yes, a variety. Submit your information on our Jobs page and we will contact you when a job matches.
How will I receive my paycheck?
By check or direct deposit to your bank account.
Who pays me?
Echelon pays you.
How often am I paid?
Weekly.
How long do contract jobs last?
From 2 weeks to a year, and longer in some cases.
Where are the jobs, and is travel covered?
Jobs can be anywhere in the United States, and your travel expenses are paid.
Will I receive a per diem when working outside my local area?
Yes, for every day of the assignment, including weekends.
If I’m guaranteed 60 hours a week, is that 40 straight time and 20 overtime?
Yes.
Will I be eligible for unemployment when a job ends?
It depends on the specific job.
Do I stay in your database for future jobs?
Yes. List all your skills on your resume.
Who picks me up at the airport, or where do I report if I drive?
A project manager or supervisor will contact you.
How will I get into the facility?
Echelon will go over travel and access with you before each job.
When will I know my pay and hours?
Before each job.
Who sets up lodging?
Echelon arranges your travel and lodging.
How do I get home when the job is over?
Echelon provides transportation and will go over the details with you.
What if a union member follows me to my hotel and harasses me?
Report it to your project manager or supervisor.
Can I take time off after a few months?
You are expected to stay on the job until it ends.
